is a Canadian Composer, conductor and producer. He has been the recipient of numerous internationally recognized scholarships and awards. In 2006 Joseph Lerner and Roufat Amiraliev had their first collaboration as conductor and concertmaster at Hart House and later on at CBC Glenn Gould Studio. While Joseph Lerner was residing in Vienna, Austria in 2008 he presented the idea of creating the Prater Orchestra to Roufat Amiraliev.
Prater Ensemble is a non-for -profit organization that was founded by the violinist Roufat Amiraliev and pianist Rena Amiralieva in 2004. They are also the recipients of numerous prestigious awards and have CD recordings. Prater Ensemble's mission is to come together with fellow musicians as a Chamber Orchestra and perform concerts not only in concert halls but also in Community Centres, Senior Homes, Music and Public Schools and Hospitals.
Prater Ensemble's goal for this and future concerts is to raise funds for the programs that will foster the integration of new immigrant musicians into Canada. This program will focus its efforts on talented musicians who struggle to find meaningful work in the months that follow their arrival.
