If you love tea (or at least a cozy hot beverage), this one’s for you. Now on at the Richmond Hill Heritage Centre, Steeped in History: Tea’s Culture, Commerce and Ceremony explores how tea travelled the world, shaping cultures, traditions and social rituals along the way.
With artifacts from the Richmond Hill Artifact Collections and reflections from local community groups, visitors are invited to get hands‑on and explore how tea has brought people together for thousands of years.
The exhibit extends until the end of the year.
Gallery Hours:
- Tuesdays 1 – 4 p.m.
- Thursdays 4 – 8 p.m.
- Saturdays 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
The Heritage Centre is located at 19 Church St. South. Parking is available on the street.
