The Richmond Hill Computer Technology Volunteers offers some great advice and general knowledge on all things technology related!!
Their next Information Session will be held virtually on Saturday, February 19th.
Two segments. You are welcome to join one or both segments:
1) 9:00-10:00 am – Round Table Q&A
This segment will begin with a “Saturday Mind-Twister”, followed by a short presentation on: "How technology can work for you". Topics will range from software applications and their use, or features of phones, tablets/computers, including Android, Apple or Windows O/S. A Q&A session would then follow providing attendees with the opportunity to ask questions on how technology affects you.
2) 10:00 – 11:00 am - Tech News and Insights
This segment will provide participants with a more generalized view of technology covering different topics and how our daily lives are affected.
They continue with their series “A day in the life of how technology affects me”. Ken will discuss fitness trackers in general including the benefits, drawbacks, and the alternatives such as Mobile Health Apps, the many types of wearables, and their sensors. He will add comments on his personal experience using this technology. A Q&A session would then follow providing attendees with the opportunity to ask questions.
If anyone is interested in sharing their personal "day in the life of how technology affects me", please respond to the email below. A RH-CTV will contact you and discuss further. Your presentation would range from 5 minutes to 15 minutes.
