The congregation and ministry of the Richmond Hill United Church celebrate Pride Month and celebrate the 10th anniversary of becoming an "Affirming Church".
To be an Affirming Ministry of the United Church of Canada means to be committed to becoming an anti-racist and intercultural church. To be affirming is to welcome everybody into their community regardless of age, wealth, ability, culture, sexuality, and gender identity.
There will be cake after the service!
People are invited to wear their finery - bright colours and bling!
Through the Sundays in June RHUC will be exploring God's call of radical welcome through the theme "Overarching Love".
