An excellent use of this heritage home - Holiday Art Gallery and Shop

less than 1 minute

There is a strong desire to preserve our heritage, including preserving our heritage homes.

But what do you do with them?

The City owned home, the Boyntown House is a good example of a classic Ontario farmhouse.  The land around it was bought by the City about 50 years ago and is the site of the very popular Richmond Green Park (located at Leslie & Elgin Mills).  Click HERE for more information.

It is easy to not pay attention to this old home.

The Artists' Co-op Richmond Hill is thrilled for the second year to be offering an extraordinary holiday shopping experience at this historic Boynton House.

The artists invite you to come and see their diverse talents and creativity, featuring:

  • beautifully crafted woodturning
  • cozy knitwear
  • exquisite pottery
  • dazzling jewelry
  • fused glass wonders
  • captivating textiles
  • ...and awe-inspiring fine art

Click HERE to see a sampling of their work.
The participating artists take turns being at the gallery.

This is an opportunity to support local artists and appreciate our heritage.

The gallery is open:

  • Saturday, October 7  to Saturday, December 30 2023
  • Wednesdays to Sundays (closed Monday and Tuesday) - 11 am to 6 pm.
  • During the Merry Marketplace (Saturday's Nov. 18th to Dec. 16th) the gallery is open until 9 pm.
  • Please note that Google Maps incorrectly says that the gallery closes at 4 pm.
