Richmond Hill has the privilege of hosting the Minwaa Niinwind Dabaadjimownan: Our Story Continues Art Exhibit from May 28 to July 2, at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts.

In partnership with the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation (MCFN), one of Richmond Hill’s Treaty Partners, this special exhibit showcases submissions of artwork by MCFN artists that celebrate their vibrant history and culture.

This exhibit features a wide range of art forms, with each piece serving as a powerful tool for maintaining and communicating cultural knowledge, traditions and language for future generations.

Featured Artists:

  • Tracey Anthony
  • Kate Dalton
  • Jennifer Sault
  • Daniel Secord
  • Sylken Smith

This exhibit is an opportunity to learn more about the MCFN, including their history, culture, language and traditions with our community, which is located on the lands of the Toronto Purchase Treaty No. 13.

The display is in the lower lobbies of the theatre. The building is open for its regular business.  Here is a sample of the display.
