For adults... come and learn how to paint in this fun, positive environment.
Lets have fun learning to paint, whether an absolute beginner or more seasoned artist. Olga has been teaching the fundamentals of art for over 35 years.
You will learn about perspective both linear and tonal, colour theory, composition and self expression.
It's all about your personal expression on the the canvas and she's there to guide and instruct you.
She can teach anyone to paint, all you have to do is listen and paint!
She offers an 8 week program, 3 hours, beginning Sunday Sept. 12th OR Wednesday Sept. 15.
For children......
The students will be learning the fundamentals of art in a variety of mediums, always striving to improve their motor skills, observation and imagination in a fun, nurturing environment.
They will learn about composition, drawing in perspective, colour theory, values, using a variety of mediums such as pencil, pencil crayon, watercolour, acrylic and mixed media.
Olga's joy comes from seeing the students learn and get excited about their achievements, and being able to express themselves through their artwork.
Children's classes are Saturday (starting Sept. 11) or Tuesday (starting Sept 14th) - 8 weeks 2 hour per week.
About Olga Senyk
Olga has been teaching the fundamentals of art to children for 35 years, drawing, painting in acrylic, and watercolour and mixed media; to adults for 22 years in oil and acrylic. Her training has come from the practical 'on the job' learning along with many hours in classes and workshops. She takes a step by step approach to help students really understand what their seeing as opposed to what they think their seeing. The goal is to give the students the knowledge and practical skills so that they will be able to paint competently on their own. She loves to teach!
