Richmond Hill Launches Survey, Workshops to Invite Resident Feedback

The City of Richmond Hill is seeking community input to make City services and policies more equitable and inclusive.

The City is committed to helping Richmond Hill remain a safe, welcoming space for all. By filling out a survey or attending a workshop discussion, residents can participate in the development of Richmond Hill’s first Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy and Action Plan. Following public consultation, the Strategy and Action Plan are expected to be presented to Council in spring of 2023.

Online Survey

Richmond Hill’s Equity and Inclusion Survey is available from November 16 to December 8, 2022. Participants are invited to share their thoughts on how the City can improve equity and inclusion in our services.

Visit www.RichmondHill.ca/Diversity to complete the survey, and be entered in a draw for a chance to win one of two $50 Visa gift cards.

Workshop Discussions

The City is hosting two workshops to engage in more detailed discussions with residents about how City services can become more equitable and inclusive. Participants will have an opportunity to hear about the plans for building Richmond Hill’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy, and to share insights and personal experiences that will help shape our path forward.
