A Practical Six-Week Meditation Course for Everyday Life - Week Three
In these meditation classes, you will learn the foundations of Buddhist philosophy and meditation practice, which can help us maintain a positive perspective on life and approach everyday challenges with greater clarity and calm. The classes offer step-by-step guidance on the Buddhist path to inner peace in a way that is accessible and practical for everyone, regardless of background or experience.
Tonight's topic ~ How Our Mind Continues After Death
Open to everyone, this series of classes will explore how to make meditation a meaningful and uplifting part of daily life. By learning the five essential building blocks of meditation, we can become more confident and effective meditators.
These classes include two guided meditations and a talk on nurturing deeper inner peace and a clear sense of purpose and direction in our lives. After each class, there is time for Q&A.
Each class is self-contained, so you are welcome to join at any time. No previous experience is required. We require booking in advance, as our classes are often well attended.
You do not need to bring anything with you, and the meditation is conducted on chairs (though you are welcome to bring a cushion if you prefer).
Rose Hirano brings a wealth of personal experience to her meditation classes, gained through many years of dedicated study and practice within Kadampa Buddhism. Known for her friendly and open nature, she presents her class in a light, practical, and clear way, showing how anyone can experience the benefits of meditation - even in the midst of busy modern life.
Class Fee - $75 for the 6 classes or $15 each.
