We’ll once again come together to talk, listen and connect.
For the past few years, Mayor David West has been our first presenter following the summer break.
This year, I’ve asked him to:
- Nudge us to become more civically engaged
- Tell us about the new Dave Barrow Civic Square
- Share some of what he learned at the Association of Municipalities of Ontario conference about what is happening elsewhere in the province
The Central Library underwent renovations last month, and the finishing touches are still being completed. Since its meeting rooms are not expected to be ready by September 15, we will gather at the beautiful Oak Ridges Library, just off Yonge Street, north of King Road.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone again—and to another season of thoughtful conversation and community connection.
