Exploring Buddhism: Practical Wisdom for Daily Life.

Event Date:
Thursday, December 4, 2025 - 7:00pm to 8:15pm

This five-week course is open to everyone. This is week 4.

It introduces, in a down-to-earth and practical way, the fundamental principles of Buddhism—such as karma, past and future lives, meditation, and how to find inner solutions to your problems.

Each session shows how these teachings can be applied in daily life to cultivate inner peace, clarity, and resilience.

By the end of the course, you will have a strong foundation in Buddhist philosophy and practical ways to create a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

Tonight's topic ~ Do You Believe in Karma?

Open to everyone, this series of classes will explore how to make meditation a meaningful and uplifting part of daily life. By learning the five essential building blocks of meditation, we can become more confident and effective meditators.

These classes include two guided meditations and a talk on nurturing deeper inner peace and a clear sense of purpose and direction in our lives. After each class, there is time for Q&A.

Each class is self-contained, so you are welcome to join at any time. No previous experience is required.

We request booking in advance. Walk-in welcome.

You do not need to bring anything with you, and the meditation is conducted on chairs.

Rose Hirano brings a wealth of personal experience to her meditation classes, gained through many years of dedicated study and practice within Kadampa Buddhism. Known for her friendly and open nature, she presents her class in a light, practical, and clear way, showing how anyone can experience the benefits of meditation - even in the midst of busy modern life.

Class Fee - $65 for the 5 classes or $15 each.
