Richmond Hill United Church and St. Matthew’s United Church invite the communit for a special Pride Month Celebration Service
This joint service will be a meaningful time of worship, inclusion, community, and celebration.
They are especially honoured to welcome Rev. Dr. Brent Hawkes as our guest speaker. Rev. Dr. Hawkes is a well-known advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, a Member of the Order of Canada, and the officiant of Canada’s first legally recognized same-sex marriage.
Following the service, everyone is warmly invited to stay for a light luncheon and fellowship.
At that time, Rev. Brent will also share information about his charitable foundation, Rainbow Faith & Freedom.
