VOICELESS - From Thorns to Freedom

Event Date:
Saturday, June 27, 2026 - 11:00am to Sunday, June 28, 2026 - 5:00pm

"The Voiceless series, debuting this June at the Mill Pond Gallery, was born directly from my own lived experiences and the internal struggles that have shaped my perspective. By intertwining detailed portraiture with botanical symbolism, I explore the invisible barriers we navigate within ourselves and the external barriers imposed on us by others. These paintings reflect a personal transition from silence to expression.

This exhibition is an invitation for others to witness that journey and perhaps recognize their own quiet resilience within the layers of colour and light."

Patricia Roncone is a professional artist based in Richmond Hill, specializing in watercolour on Aquabord, a medium that allows for luminous depth while freeing my work from reliance on traditional glass. Her upcoming solo exhibition at the Mill Pond Gallery this June marks a significant milestone, bridging technical application of medium with raw, emotional storytelling.

As well as the two images above, here are additional glimpses of her work
